Group of Eight Australia - Germany Joint Scheme

The Group of Eight Australia - Germany Research Co-operation Scheme applications opened this month. The scheme is a joint initiative of the Group of Eight (Go8) universities and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
 
The DAAD is Germany's national agency for the support of international academic co-operation. It is one of the world's largest and most respected organizations in its field. The scheme supports exchanges for Go8 researches to spend time at partner institutions in Germany and for collaborating German researchers to spend time at Go8 universities.
 
Applications for projects commencing in 2009 open in early June 2008 and close on 22 August 2008.
